Wendy Williams, Senior Minister Stewardship for Us is a team of Unitarian Universalists providing advice and assistance in mission-based sustainable stewardship programs. As their website states: “Because the future is in your hands...Your congregation’s ongoing life depends on your generosity, stewardship, and readiness to honor your history. We help you build the roots that keep you strong” JUC’s roots are strong. This has been a steady congregation for a long time and one that has been willing to be bold at varying times throughout its existence. That said, we know that if we are truly going to Make Room for the next bold chapter at JUC, we will need to understand how much our dream might cost and how to go about paying for it. Accordingly, we wanted an expert to companion us and offer an assessment about how equipped we are to realize the plan that we determine together.
Kay Crider will be visiting JUC March 9-11 meeting with staff, board, committees and congregation. Mark your calendar for Sunday, March 11 at 12:30 p.m. for an opportunity to meet Kay, hear her observations of our congregation, and learn next steps in how can fund our plan to Make Room to Welcome All, Grow Our Ministries, and Engage Our Community. Blessings, Wendy
