Wider Horizons Capital Campaign
JUC’s WIDER HORIZONS CAPITAL CAMPAIGN IS OFF AND RUNNING!
We are now laser focused on raising enough money to transform an extraordinary opportunity into a remarkable reality. The opportunity, as you surely know, is the swap/purchase of our campus for the much larger Lakewood Church of the Nazarene (LCN) in Lakewood. To do that, we need to raise $4 million, and we need all members and friends to s-t-r-e-t-c-h to meet that goal!
Already, 85 of our member households have done some serious stretching. As of February 29, we have pledges totaling more than $2.4 million! |

That exciting announcement helped kick off the Wider Horizons campaign at our lively LEAP Day celebration at LCN. What a joy to see all of us in one place, singing, talking playing laughing. Thanks to Tracy Nolan and Brooke & Kevin Maddaford for putting it together.
And oh, the possibilities! Just being in the space created so much buzz about ways to use that space for worship, for music, for RE, for justice work and becoming a spiritual center with a civic circumference.
Now, all through March and into April, we turn our attention to making pledges.
HERE ARE THE WAYS YOU CAN PLEDGE:* (all pledges are confidential)
1:1 visit: a chance for you and a JUC volunteer visiting steward to get together whenever and wherever it is convenient to talk about the meaning of JUC in your life, ask questions about the project, and consider a pledge to the campaign.
Cottage Meetings: We have almost 30 opportunities in the next six weeks from Denver to Evergreen and Arvada to Lakewood. Spend an hour and a half sharing stories with a small group of JUCers about the meaning of this community and faith in your life, learn more about the project, and consider making a pledge. Meetings are scheduled during evenings, afternoons, mornings, weekdays and weekend.
On your own: You may pick up a pledge packet at the JUC office, at the Making Room table on Sundays or call the office 303-279-5282 to request that a pledge packet be mailed to you.
*Pledge payments would begin after the congregation votes on May 17th whether to approve the move. Payments can be spread over one to three years or made all at once. AND, all pledges are confidential. Note: if you are unable to pledge, please fill out the form anyway. There is a place for you to let us know that as well.
