Many JUCers LOVE to talk - especially about JUC. Lots of us enjoy being together, discussing ideas and possibilities, and finding ways to make things better. We know many of you are super excited about the Making Room Project. Here are some ways you can help soon with the Capital Campaign, and bonus: it's social. You can get to know some others in our congregation better and help make our new campus a reality at the same time. Read more if this sounds like you! Be a visiting steward during our upcoming Wider Horizons Capital Campaign!
It’s easy, just click here to volunteer. Trainings will be held February 21 and 22. You can meet with fellow JUCers in two different ways: one-to-one visits with two to four households (2.5 hour training) or hosting a “cottage meeting” for up to 12 JUCers in your home (90-minute training). Yes, these visits include asking for a pledge toward the end, but they’re mostly about sharing JUC stories, discussing the exciting possibilities of moving to a larger campus and thinking about the future. Those are all things we love to do! Visits and cottage meetings will start in March after our fun LEAP into Wider Horizons All Church Celebration. The party will be at Lakewood Church of the Nazarene at 1755 Dover Street on Saturday, February 29 at 10 a.m. This Wider Horizons phase of the capital campaign lasts through March and April. We’d love it if you’d volunteer. If that’s not in the cards, please know you’ll be getting a call to schedule a visit or attend a get together, and be ready to say YES!
